The Poet's Dance

The Poet's Dance
The ballerina dances on an empty stage, trailing black ribbons from her feet.
She twirls and weaves an intricate pattern, leaving its mark on the stage in dark lines.
Music rises from the stage, softly at first, then louder, until it reaches a crechendo, of melodic notes.
The dance is done, the ballerina bows, and is lifted off the stage.
